The organizers of the biggest music awards in Nigeria,the HEADIES has made a shocking announcement concerning the this year event,the award which was formerly known as Hip hop world award established in 2006 now widely known as the HEADIES will be holding at the prestigious Cobb energy performing arts centre, Atlanta,Georgia,U.S.A
This will be the first time that the academic music awards will be held outside Nigeria since it inception in 2006,this is in collaboration with the U.S console.
Entries is to run from 8th March to 12th April while the event will hold on June 02
The organizers also made 7 major announcement but we will mention just three out of the 7 they made because they’re new and very interesting.
- The next rated artiste winner will go home with Bentley bentayga 2022.
- They headies will introduce it own talent hunt,called,”mic check”
- New categories have been introduced and they include:
- Music executive of the year
- Best Afrobeat pop single (Nigeria)
- Best Afrobeat pop album (Nigeria)
- Best African collaboration
- Best international collaboration
- African artiste of the year and
- International artiste of the year.
Who will go home with the lastest Bentley bentayga 2022 star prize for the next rated artiste category as zinoleesky, buju(BNXN),Ruger and Ayra starr are in the same raise.
